Follow the E2 Community
The E2 Community of Practices is a web-based thematic platform accessible from the project's website www.e2project.eu. It is a blog open to the contribution of E2 project partners, ENHANCED EDITOR e-course participants, publishing houses' representatives, institutions/associations connected and operating in the publishing world and all stakeholders and people interested in the E2 project activities, aims and objectives. The blog contains several articles dealing with the E2 course, the technologies for digital publishing, the right use of social media and other topics related to the editorial digital system. Partners, course participants and stakeholders are involved in the discussions, both by writing comments to articles in order to create a network beyond the end of the project.

E2 Sixth Newsletter released
The sixth newsletter is online! In this issue we talk about the the E2 Final Conference "Diving into the world of digital books", held in Bilbao (Spain) last 14th January 2014; the E2 Community of Practices to keep the network beyond the project lifetime; the ENHANCED EDITOR e-course results.

ALL PARTNERS IN BILBAO FOR THE E2 FINAL MEETING
E2 final meeting was held in Bilbao, Spain the 14th and 15th January 2014. The aim of the meeting was to close the last project activities and to discuss the future implementation and exploitation of results. Partners agreed to implement and give evidence to the Community of Practices in the website in order to allow course participants, stakeholders and organizations interested in the project results to have a discussion platform beyond project lifetime. All partners from the five involved countries participated in the discussion and they meet for their last time in the E2 project life.

E2 FINAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE - BILBAO, SPAIN 14 JANUARY 2014
The final International Conference "Diving into the world of digital books" took place on January the 14th 2014 at Alhondiga in Bilbao, Spain. During the event the E2 project was presented together with the final results of the experimentation phase. The final event apprached the topic of virtual learning to improve the e-book publishing promotion and accessibility in the European publishing sector.
The conference had the contribution of important expert in the field of social media, legal issues and e-book. At the end of the speeches, a session of answers and questions animated the debate among participants, highlighting the importance of improving and increasing the use of social media marketing in the publishing world, especially for small and medium companies.
… AND FINALLY THE PROJECT WORKS
November the 15th 2013 was the deadline to submit the Project Works produced by the ENHANCED EDITOR e-course participants. Laboratories were the practical phase of the e-course to apply what publishers learnt attending the lessons on the virtual platform.
We received 18 Project Works. In particular, we have 13 projects for Section 1 (an enhanced e-book) and 5 projects for Section 2 (a social media campaign ): 6 from Italy, 1 from Turkey and 11 from Lithuania.
All project works will be evaluated by the E2 project partner MINDRESEARCH and final results will be delivered at the middle of December 2013. Project Works will be shown during the final conference in Bilbao, Spain on January the 14th 2013.
