E2 project at the Frankfurt Book Fair
Lithuanian Publishers Association (LLA), E2 project partner, participated in the Frankfurt Book Fair 2012, taht took place in October from the 10th to the 14th. The Frankfurt Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry's experts and the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide. More than 7,300 exhibitors from 100 countries, 299,000 visitors and over 10,000 journalists come annually to Frankfurt's Book Fair.
During the events, LLA distributed many E2 leaflets to visitors, promoting project objectives and purpose, focusing on the on-line e-course as the core activity of the E2 project. Click HERE to se the image gallery
E2 First Interim Meeting in Copenhagen, September 2012
The E2 consortium held its first Interim meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark on September the 14th 2012 hosted by the project partner MINDRESEARCH.
The meeting aimed at discussing the actvities implemented so far and the upcoming ones. It was a successful summit where many important decisions, related to the future of the project, were taken. In particular participants discussed the Research Report results and the findings of the Training Needs analysis. The Interim meeting allowed partner to draft a first version of the Course Curriculum that contains the training course programme and topics, defined according to the data collected in the research phase. International Book Forum
The Turin International Book Fair will host from 10th to 12th May 2012 the eleventh edition of the IBF - International Book Forum, a business area which offers the possibility for purposeful meetings among Italian and foreign publishers, literary agents, and film, TV and new media producers from all over the world. The IBF – International Book Forum will take place at the Lingotto Conference Center (Lingotto Fiere, via Nizza 280 Torino; opening hours 10am-7pm) from May 10th to 12th, 2012. E2 Research Report
The Research and Didactic team of the E2 project concluded the research phase with the final delivery of the Research Report. The document aims at collating National Research data findings, provided by each partner, gathering coherent, EU wide data on publishing sector and its transformations, collecting the most interesting best practices in the digital editorial field, providing also a clear scheme of the main innovative features, targets and fruition models as well as content delivery strategies and technologies, business to consumers and business to business models and finally, at identifying the professional and vocational skills to train during the experimentation phase of the project according to the needs of small and medium publishing houses.
E2 Kick-off meeting in Rome, February 2012
A three day Kick-off meeting for the E2 "Digital education for Enhanced Editorial products" project, was held on 8-10th February 2012 at the FOR.COM. premises in Rome.
