Main Activities
The following main activities will be carried out throughout the E2 project:
- A Comparative Research to identify both current best practices in the e-publishing sector and current experiences, expectations and training needs of small and medium publishers in the 5 project countries;
The design and delivery of the pilot e-learning course "Enhanced Editors" addressed to small and medium publishers in all the 5 project countries (Denmark, Italy, Lithuania, Turkey and Spain);
- The production of Project Works (multimedia products) created by participants during the last two months of the Enhanced Editors course. Groups of participants will produce a work using applications and teachings developed through the e-learning course. Project works could encompass enhanced books suitable for the computer, web TV, mobile phones etc.;
- The creation of an Online Community of Practices (CoPs): a web-based thematic platform accessible from the project website. CoPs will allow users to provide and take information on innovative ICT tools and applications for the publishing sector and all the necessary documentation on this topic;
- Dissemination activities: dissemination tools, materials and events (project multilingual website, leaflets, posters, e-newsletters, participation in international conferences and book fairs and organization of the E2 project final workshop in Bilbao).
