Introduction
The RIGHTS experimentation phase is over. The teachers involved in the online course started their practical activities (workshops) with their students in order to make them produce their digital stories. The stories were produced in the 7 partner countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. Each partner country selected the 5 best stories that were selected for participating in the RIGHTS INTERNATIONAL CONTEST. The students of the schools involved in the RIGHTS project were called to produce their own DIGITAL STORIES on Global citizenship education. Teachers supported their students during the production phase. The Assessment team made up of experts in the project fields assessed all the stories based on a pre-set rubric that was indicated in the Contest rules document. The RIGHTS staff congratulates with Daniela and with all the participants for their enthusiasm and involvement in producing very touching and high level stories!!! As foreseen Daniela will be invited to for present her story during the RIGHTS project final conference that will be held in Barcelona on the 26th September 2013.
FINAL STAGES
The RIGHTS project partner are organizing the Final project meeting and the final conference. These events will be held in Barcelona on the 26-27th September 2013 with different aims.
The final project meeting will help partners to sum up activities implemented, tasks accomplished and results achieved over the past 2 years and to make the final steps with an eye on the Final report. TRANSIT PROJECTES participated in the INTED conference 2013., the general aim of the conference was to promote international collaboration in Education and Research in all educational fields and disciplines. The attendance of more than 700 delegates from 70 different countries was expected. Juan Pedregosa presented the RIGHTS project in the frame of the panel "Joint Educational and Research projects".
Hedmark University College participated in the EDEN Annual Conference "The Joy of Learning: Enhancing Learning Experience Improving Learning Quality". The aim of the EDEN conference is to discover and present the latest best practice in this field, share progressive concepts, inventive solutions, and promote joint-thinking and collaboration.
The conference was held in Oslo on 12-15 June 2013. HUC and USGM presented a paper titled "Reimagining and reinventing democracy through digital storytelling – global citizenship education in the RIGHTS project.
USGM organised the RIGHTS national workshop "Citizenship, Creativity and Didactic in the Digital Era" that was held in Rome at the Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi on the 13th June 2013. The event aimed to promote the RIGHTS project results and latest achievements among education authorities, teachers and a wider audience.

Upcoming events
C.I.E.S is going to participate to the VII Seminario Nazionale di EDUCAZIONE INTERCULTURALE (VII National Seminar on Intercultural Education) "UNA NUOVA ETICA PER I CURRICOLI DELLA CITTADINANZA GLOBALE" (A New Ethics for the Global Citizenship curricula) that will be held in Senigallia on the 6-7-8 September 2013. Irene Fisco and Alessia Romeo are going to manage the didactical laboratory: "Il digital storytelling per l'educazione alla cittadinanza mondiale " (Digital storytelling for global citizenship education).
