Introduction
The RIGHTS project team is going on with the Experimentation activities in the 7 partner countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey. The experimentation phase started in November 2012 and will finish in June 2013. It was split in two subsequent stages: the online course, the workshops with students in classroom.
Around 160 teachers registered for the online course and have almost completed the first phase.
The teachers will soon start working in their classrooms, with students, for the production of the final products: the digital stories. In order to favour an active engagement of the students in the production of the digital stories the partnership decided to organise national contests and an international contest. As for the national contests each partner has identified specific evaluation procedures.
DIGITAL STORIES PRODUCTION BY STUDENTS
The RIGHTS INTERNATIONAL CONTEST for students has been launched.
The students of the schools involved in the RIGHTS project will be called to produce their own DIGITAL STORIES on Global citizenship education. Teachers will support their students during the production phase.
The Assessment team made up of experts in the project fields will choose the best story and the producer of the story will be selected for presenting his/her product during the RIGHTS project final conference that will be held in Barcelona on the 26th September 2013. The Contest rules and assessment criteria will be published on the RIGHTS project website www.rightsproject.eu.
